SUMMARY:2018 Diamond Lake Spring Retreat
DESCRIPTION:The Spring retreat at Diamond Lake is set for the weekend of May September 18-19-20. The Spring retreat will offer participants time to work on their UFOs. The coupon to register for the retreat is below and we encourage you to register early. \nJust to recap in case you are a newer member of MSQG\, the registration fee you pay to Mt. Stars pays for the sewing room rental\, a small subsidy for Saturday’s chair-massage therapist\, as well as actual costs of providing the retreat. The surplus goes into the Guild’s general fund\, allowing the Guild to subsidize some of the cost of providing world-class teachers each year. Back to retreat specifics\, you then pay for your own housing – most participants share a cabin rental with others or get a motel or kitchenette for themselves. To make your reservations just call the toll free number for Diamond Lake Resort\, 1-800-733-7593. \nThe retreat begins about noon on Friday and you are welcome to stay as late on Sunday as you wish. We usually begin packing up the Guild supplies about 1:00 that afternoon but you do not have to leave when we do! The sewing room is upstairs at the main lodge\, overlooking the lake\, and couldn’t be more beautiful. We work to provide a relaxing and fun environment for you.
