SUMMARY:Fall 2025 Diamond Lake Retreat
DESCRIPTION:** PLEASE NOTE: THIS EVENT IS FULL AND REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED ** \nThe Fall 2025 retreat at Diamond Lake is set for Friday-Sunday\, September 19th through 21st. This retreat will offer participants time to work on their UFOs. \nIf you would like to attend the retreat\, we encourage you to register early! The cost is $40 for guild members and $80 for non-members. The non-member fee includes the $40 retreat fee plus $30 for MSQG membership dues and a $10 processing fee. \nAs a reminder\, your registration fee covers the cost of the sewing room rental as well as actual costs for providing the retreat. If there is any surplus\, it goes into the Guild’s general fund\, allowing the Guild to subsidize some of the cost of providing world-class teachers each year. \n*** Accommodation Details: You pay for your own housing – most participants share a rental with others (motel\, studio or cabin). Don’t forget to call the Diamond Lake Resort directly (541-793-3333) to make your reservation and remember to ask for the quilter’s discount! You must call the Diamond Lake Resort to get the discount because it’s not available if you make your reservation online or through another service. \nThere will be 3 ways to register for this retreat: \n\nDownload and complete this Retreat Registration Form then mail it along with your check for the appropriate amount (as noted above) to the address provided on the form.\nCome to a guild meeting where we have forms available for you to complete. You’ll be able to pay in cash or by check.\nYou can register and/or pay online for this event by clicking here. (Members will be assessed a $2 convenience fee in addition to their registration fee).\n\nSet up for the retreat begins on Thursday in the early afternoon. If you’d like to come early\, join us in the Thielsen Room to help get all of our stuff ready. Once we’re done with set up\, anyone who helped with setup can set up their own station and sew BUT you need to help with the set up to be able to start early. \nThe sewing room is upstairs at the main lodge\, overlooking the lake\, and couldn’t be more beautiful. Friday night we have the traditional “Dutch Treat” dinner at the Diamond Lake Restaurant. Bring snacks to share and an item or two for the Potluck on Saturday lunch. We usually begin packing up the Guild supplies about 1:00 PM on Sunday afternoon but you don’t have to leave when we do! \nWe work to provide a relaxing and fun environment for you.
