DESCRIPTION:The MEG project for September is Trapunto in the hoop.  There are several sites that may have Trapunto designs you can purchase (Embroidery Library\, Kimberbell\, OESD\, Sweet Pea\, and Designs by JuJu to name just a few.) \nIf you decide to purchase a project\, be sure to print the instructions & supply list indicated for the design you choose.  Some companies have recommendations as to stabilizers and other materials. \nTrapunto Sample\nThis is a fun and simple project that you’ll enjoy.  The following is a general supply list for this project if they’re not supplied with your design: \n\nStandard embroidery machine supplies\nTrapunto machine embroidery design\n1/4″ to 3/8″ thick batting or high loft batting (depending on how you want your trapunto to look).\nFabric for your trapunto project front and back\nMedium weight cutaway stabilizer or OESD Fuse and Fleece\nTemporary adhesive spray\nTear-Away Tape\nThread for your project\n\nAs always\, you are not required to do the project – instead feel free to bring something else you want to do or learn. \nIf you have any questions\, please contact Karen Derrer at 512-688-7859.  That’s her mobile number so she’s able to receive text messages but asks that you PLEASE identify yourself in the text so she’ll who is texting her.
