SUMMARY:Machine Embroidery Group MEG meeting
DESCRIPTION:We are quite happy that we are able to have the second gathering of MEG.\nWe will be meeting on the 4th Saturday of the month\, June 24\, 2023 at the Scottish Rite Center\, 3581 Lear Way\, Medford\, [right behind Hobby Lobby]. \nDoors will again open at 9:00 am and closing around 4:00 pm. Our monthly Project will begin around 10:00 am. MEG fee is $15 pp. \nThe registration form needs to be sent to: Theresa Patton at 170 Loop Road\, Myrtle Creek\, Oregon\, 97457. \nYou can also sign up at the door!  BUT if you want to do this month’s cute project\, (see below)\, you need to let Karen Derrer [kderrer@live.com]  know\, so she can send you the supply list for the project. \nSewing badge project\nRemember to bring your own lunch\, drink\, and snacks. (Lots of places to get food around Scottish Rite Building.) \nOur project for this month will be this cute sewing machine badge/ornament/design. We will also be learning how to put our own name on it\, if your machine has the capacity to do that. Of course you can also bring any designs you want to work on\, and we will help you in any way we can. We had a couple of ladies in May that just visited and didn’t even bring their machine. Remember we are promoting learning and fellowship in this group. Just come and have fun!! \nNEW MEG June registration form \nA few other things to remember: \n\nYou don’t have to do the monthly project.  You can bring any project/s that you chose.  We will help as much as we can.\nYou don’t have to come all day\, but you will be charged the $15. for participation fee.\nYou don’t have to bring your Embroidery machine.  We had a couple of ladies that came last time without their machines\, and seemed to have a fun time\, and learned lots.\nPlease bring your own food\, drinks and snacks ( there are lots of places to get drinks and food around the Scottish Rite building.)\nRemember this group’s goal is to learn about machine embroidery\, have fun with those skills\, and enjoy the fellowship while doing so!
