We had another huge turnout for this meeting that included a presentation of a check for $1,254.18 to the Executive Director of the Women’s Crisis Support Team (proceeds from the 2024 Opportunity Quilt). We also had a presentation from the Alderwood Assisted Living facility regarding their 3rd annual Quiltopia & Open House coming up on April 26th (MSQG members are welcome to enter quilts). Anna Loeffler announced a Project Linus “Make-a-Quilt” day taking place on March 22nd, Kelly Leatherwood discussed ways our members can contribute to the Quilts of Valor, and Anna DeHoog talked about changes to our Facebook pages. Terrie Prinslow won both sets of Block Party blocks (pieced and applique)! We also held the usual door prize drawings, emoticon drawing, and fat quarter bundle drawings! And, no surprise, the potluck lunch was very tasty.
