Grace Anderson – Guess What’s In My Scrap Bag
March 7, 2025 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
This class is all about making some great and unusual quilt blocks from what you normally throw away (discards, scraps, trims, etc). Grace will show some inspiring samples. We bet you never thought of these ideas! You, the student, will never look at a scrap of fabric the same again. Students will make 4 basic, easy and fun samples in class. You’ll have fun, creative and free spirited quilting! A supply list will be given upon registration and payment.
The morning treats will be provided by Grace, but you do need to take care of your lunch.
To Register: You can obtain the registration form (with pricing information) by clicking here. Just print and complete the form then mail it along with your payment to the address on the form.
Grace Anderson has been a member of Mountain Stars Quilters Guild since 2005 and a quilter since 1996. Though she began longarm quilting for others before making a quilt, she has made hundreds of quilts since.
Working at Plaza Sewing Center in Grants Pass for the past 44 years and teaching at the store, her studio and at big international quilts shows in Washington and Oregon has given her tons of experience and inspiration.
She especially enjoys creating original quilts and making “silk purses out of sows ears” (beautiful quilt art out of discards).
