Straight Line Piecing class – Karla Alexander

Karla Alexander lives in Salem OR, with her Husband Don and family dog, Lucy.
Karla is the author of the following books, Stack the Deck! Crazy Quilts in
4 Easy Steps!, Stack a New Deck!, New Cuts for New Quilts, Baby Wraps,
Color Shuffle, Stack the Deck Revisited, Dynamic Quilts with Easy Curves
and Stack, Shuffle and Slide. Karla releases her own pattern line under
Saginaw Street Quilts. She also organizes and teaches workshops for Cascade Quilt Retreats.
Karla is on the design team for Creative Grid Rulers having designed 8 specialty rulers to use along
with her methods. Karla was a featured on Simply Quilts and again on The Quilt Show with Alex and
Ricky. She is also a featured Artist for Island Batiks.
Karla’s philosophy regarding quilting is to enjoy the process, learn from your experience and take what
you learn from one project on to the next.
