Kathy Miners – Hot & Heavy Zippered Bag
February 7, 2025 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
This is a FUN project and you’ll be thrilled with the results! Each of you should walk away at the end of class with a finished, or nearly finished bag. Fashionable and cute, these spacious zippered bags in two sizes will hold a variety of items for your favorite mini or regular-sized household iron. Each features a zippered exterior pocket, a mesh divider and fabric slip pocket inside.
If you sign up for this class, you’ll need to do some preliminary tasks ahead of time. This is a somewhat time-consuming task, but you’ll appreciate getting this done prior to class day. Class requirements list will be given after you sign up for this class. Kathy will be available on February 8, 2025, at Saturday Sew if you wish help in finishing this project. This does not cancel Saturday Sew – it is in addition to Saturday Sew.

About the instructor…
Kathy’s interest in quilting began around 1998, when her local knitting shop closed and she needed a new hobby. Little did she know, a few years later she would be the owner of that local quilt shop. She was fortunate to be the owner for 9 years, before retiring and moving to southern Oregon
Her love of bag making started around 2008 and quickly became such an obsession that she became known as The Bag Lady. At her shop she held monthly classes for a new bag, tote, purse, or the Tools of the Trade Bag. She hopes she can help you conquer the intimidation of making something other than a quilt.
