Carol Dickson – Embellishment Technique Class

Machine needle lace – dimensional embellishments to take your art pieces to the next level.

Even if you don’t think you make “art quilts”, this is another handy tool in your toolbox. This class will introduce you to making dimensional embellishments using water soluble stabilizer, thread and tulle. We will start with making pine needle branches and moss as shown on my quilt, Sylvan Sentinels. After you learn the technique, you will only be limited by your imagination!

Carol Dickson has been quilting for over 15 years. Although she loves all aspects of quilting, her passion is original art quilts (oh, and, of course, longarm quilting!). She enjoys creating with thread and learning/sharing new techniques. Her original art has been shown at Paducah, Lancaster PA, Road to California, and Pacific International.
