General Membership Meeting – March 2022
March 12, 2022 @ 9:30 am - 2:00 pm
Join us for our General Membership Meeting on Saturday, March 12th from 9:30am to 2pm. The meeting is held at Live Oak Grange, 120 Gardiner Street, Rogue River, OR.
Remember to begin at the Sign-In table where you can pick up your ticket for door prizes, enter the Emoticon drawing, get a copy of the latest newsletter, and pick up a copy of the meeting agenda. Don’t forget to bring green fabrics for the Fat Quarter Drawing, plus any Block Party Cactus applique and/or Pot of Gold pieced blocks you made, and items for Quilts of Valor (remember to put your name on each item). And the spectacular Blossoms & Blooms Opportunity Quilt will be on display with tickets available for purchase ($1 each, 6 for $5, or 30 for $20).
Early Bird class at 9:30 will be an Accu-quilt demonstration.
Lunch at 11:00 features roast beef sliders, chips, and a homemade cookie.
Business Meeting at noon includes presentations from the Board and committee chairs plus drawings for door prizes, emoticon, Block Party, etc.
The Speaker/Presentation (following the Business Meeting) will be a Trunk Show featuring Carol Hattan.
Show and Tell will round out the meeting with members showing one or more of their quilts to the group.
We welcome anyone with an interest in quilts in all their forms – traditional, modern, and fiber art – and at all skill levels. And if you’re interested in joining the guild, we have information available at the Sign-In table. Or, for questions email membership@msquilters.com
