Karen Derrer & Vonnie Beck – Free Motion Quilting

Interested in learning Free Motion Quilting? Come join Karen & Vonnie on Saturday, April 8th from 9:30 AM to 3 PM .
Class is open to anyone: quilters who use domestic machines, mid-arms & long arms. Beginners who would like to learn Free Motion Quilting and intermediate quilters who would like to improve.
Learn and practice different types of Free Motion Quilting. Build confidence & remove the fear of quilting your own quilts. Some of the things you will learn:
1. How to set up & stabilize a quilt sandwich.
2. What type of quilting is best for certain types of quilts.
3. Auditioning designs.
4.Tools to help you quilt & mark your design.
5. You will practice different types of FMQ in class.
The class fee is $35.00 for MSQG members or $40 for non-members. Deadline for registration is March 24th. We need a minimum of 10 attendees for the class.
