Quilt Information:  Quilt for up-coming granddaughter from a pattern by Tilde, “”. It was a fun challenge! Quilted by Linda Duffy.

Quilt Information:  I sure hope we get to see some Monarch butterflies this year. Consider planting a butterfly garden this spring!

Quilt Information:  Finished September 2020. Flower design by Karen Kay Buckley. Appliqué, pierced borders, and quilting by Katie Gomez. Baby clamshell stencil by Cindy Needham was used for background of flowers.

Quilt Information:  Another (!) table runner of the month. Wool bunnies and eggs and cotton background.

Quilt Information:  This is my first hand appliquéd quilt and larger size domestic quilting project.  I did the appliqué while listening to TV the last two years, then very simple quilting, which went better than I expected!

Quilt Name:  Day Lilies (wall hanging)

Quilt Information:  This was my 2nd paper-pieced project, which I started in a class at Rosebud Quilt Shop in Medford taught by Sharon DeBoer in 1997. Pattern designed by Eileen Bahring Sullivan for Designer’s Workshop.  I hang this quilt in our home every March as a sign that spring is coming.

Quilt Information:  Machine pieced and quilted in 2001 for birth of a grand-nephew. Pattern was from a book of children’s quilts, which a friend loaned to me. I had a cute fabric with rabbits which I used on the back and fussy-cut for the border.

Quilt Name:  Nana’s Butterfly Garden

Quilt Information:  Machine-pieced and quilted in February 2021, this is the 4th in a series of quilts using my aunt’s hankies that I made for her granddaughters. An article in the March 1998 Quilt World magazine was the inspiration for how to use the hankies in a quilt.

Quilt Name:  Wooly Block Adventure 2018: In the Garden

Quilt Information:  2018 was the second year I participated on the Row By Row Wooly Block Adventure. The theme was “In The Garden” so I chose these blocks to make a quilt that reminds me of spring.

Quilt Name:  Tessellated Hydrangeas

Quilt Information:  This was a Mountain Stars challenge from 2003! There were five fat quarters from a new fabric collection called “Hydrangea.” Participants bought the fat quarters at a meeting and made quilts.

Quilt Information:  The vibrant yellows in this quilt always make me think of springtime. It was a Fiber Legends wall-hanging pattern that I chose to use as a table topper on our patio instead.
