‘Winter Wonderland’ or ‘Something Blue’

Quilt Maker:  Kathy Miners

Quilt Name:  Seeing Double

Quilt Information:  These 2 lap quilts were made using only a single 2½” precut roll and two companion fabrics. It’s from a Fiber Legends pattern called Precut Partners that was designed by Trudy Albert, Jean Beavers, & Peggy Payne and was inspired by the flooring in Trudy’s house!

Quilt Maker:  Monica Brisbin

Quilt Name:  Blue Mile A Minute

Quilt Information:  Peggy Smith gave a class for Piecemakers years ago.

This is my most favorite quilt to sew. It does not require as much precision as some quilts do. And I end up with lots of pretty blue colors.

Quilt Maker:  Cathy Pendland

Quilt Name:  Trails to My Cabin

Quilt Information:  This quilt is from the book ‘Cookies and Quilts’. A friend and I used to make log cabin quilts. We would each cut our strips from our own fabrics then put them in color piles (1 pile each of lights, mediums and darks) then draw from each pile until gone. We put the strips in paper bags then drew from the bags as we sewed. We each had the same fabrics in our quilts but when we finished they looked so different. It was fun.
